Burn the Chaff Weekend and WOWA 40th Anniversary

We invite you to Burn the Chaff Weekend as we recognize the fortieth anniversary of The Word Over the World Auditorium on Saturday, March 15, and fellowship around God's Word on Sunday, March 16, 2025. This weekend is open to everyone, whether you’ve been fellowshipping with us for years or are just discovering what we’re all about.

Joining us for any part of the weekend is free. However, if you would like to have a meal ready for you when you arrive, you may purchase a meal from Panera Bread below.

40th Anniversary presentation in the auditorium

The Word Over the World Auditorium

The structured Saturday activity will be in the auditorium Teaching Center and will be open to guests and their children. It will be a casual, encouraging time focused on the past, present, and future of the auditorium including a special teaching from Rev. Vern Edwards, a historical video presentation, and live music.
The doors to The Teaching Center open at 1:00 p.m.

Auditorium self-guided tour

The Word Over the World Auditorium

Explore the auditorium top to bottom, ask questions of the Staff, and see how the Word is moved from The Teaching Center stage during your self-guided tour. (Bring your camera!) The auditorium Bookstore will be open.

The Mothers’ Room (for mothers to stay with their babies under 1 year old) will be available in the OSC.

Children's Fellowship

Outreach Services Center (OSC)

Children's Fellowship (ages 1-year-olds–6^th grade) will be available in the OSC with registration opening at 10:00 a.m. Guests with a 1-year-old should be prepared to stay with their child(ren), depending on the total number of children in attendance.
