Arrival

Gates and Event Check-In open at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6.

When you arrive, please do the following:

  1. Arrive at the appropriate gate (see Entrance Gates & Parking section below).
  2. Proceed to the corresponding Event Check-In location (see Event Check-In section below).
  3. Enjoy the Rock!

Event Check-in locations close at 5:30 p.m. If you will be arriving later, please go to Information Services to check-in.

Entrance Gates & Parking

Free parking is available on-site for all participants.

Handicap parking is available for those who need it. Please be sure to indicate your need on your registration form.

Commuter Parking Lot & Entrance

Short term parking for those commuting to the ROA. No overnight parking allowed in this lot.

Camper Parking Lot & Entrance

Long term parking for those who are camping or staying on grounds. Overnight parking allowed.

Shuttles will be provided to carry your equipment between the parking lot and the camping areas. Shuttles are for luggage only, campers will need to walk from the parking lot to the camping areas.

RV Entrance Gate

Entrance for RVs and tow vehicles for RVs only.

Only RVs, travel trailers, pop-ups, campers and tow vehicles will be permitted direct access to the RV camping area. All other personal vehicles for RV campers should park in the Camper’s Parking Lot and proceed to Green Event Check-In.

Reminder: If your group is camping in more than one RV and you want your campsites to be together, you should have similar-length RVs and arrive at the RV entrance together. We are unable to assign sites prior to your arrival. Sites are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Handicap Parking

If you need accessible (handicap) parking—whether you're camping or commuting—please check in at Green Event Check-In. Handicap parking will be available in both the Commuter and Camper lots throughout the event.

Red Event Check-In

Participants who are commuting and staying off-grounds in the local area or local hotels.

Orange Event Check-In

Participants who are towing or driving an RV to the ROA.

This is a drive-through event check-in. You do not need to exit your vehicle. Our crews will meet you at your driver window for check-in.

Departure (for Campers)

All campers must depart by 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 10.

Saturday Departure

Luggage shuttles will be available on Saturday afternoon to transport camping equipment and luggage for those who are departing Saturday evening.

Sunday Departure

It is available to drive personal vehicles from the Campers Parking Lot to the tent and RV camping area via the Wierwille Road entrance to load camping equipment and luggage. Please fully prepare your camping supplies for load out before bringing a vehicle into the campground.
